The Atlanta Hawks are getting some compensation for the departure of Paul Millsap. The Hawks, Nuggets and Clippers have agreed in principle to a three way deal.

To the delight of heartbroken Hawks fans, the team was able to negotiate a sign and trade deal for Paul Millsap. As reported by Chris Vivlamore (AJC); the Atlanta Hawks will receive Houston’s 1st round pick (owned by LAC), C Diamond Stone, cash and Jamal Crawford. Jamal is expected to be traded or bought out according to numerous reports. The Nuggets will sign Paul Millsap and the Clippers will sign Danilo Gallinari. The Hawks will also send off the 2019 second round pick earlier acquired from the Washington Wizards.

In other developments the Hawks are rumored to be interested in Celtics Forwards Jae Crowder and Kelly Olynyk. With the addition of Gordon Hayward,  these two have become expendable for the Celtics.

Slowly but surely the Hawks roster is beginning to come to form. It may be a long couple of seasons but with Schlenk and Bud in charge the future is still bright. Stay with @ATLHawks_Talk for the latest developments.
