The Atlanta Hawks face the Cleveland Cavaliers this Thursday November 30th at Phillips Arena. The Hawks are coming off a tough loss against the Toronto Raptors by the score of 112-78 on Saturday November 25th. Luckily the Hawks had five days of rest and they should be reenergized to face the Cavaliers. Over the past several games facing the Cavaliers, the Hawks have been victorious, winning three straight against the Cavaliers dating back to the end of last season. The Hawks tend to play better against superior teams and we should see a great matchup this Thursday against them. Dennis Schroeder is expected to have a good game with the absence of Derrick Rose, he should be able to attack and easily get past the starting point guard of the Cavaliers Jose Calderon. Dennis Schroeder is now averaging 19.7 points per game.
The Cavaliers are coming in after winning their 9th game in a row when they beat the Miami Heat 108-97. Kevin Love lead the scoring with 38 points but the big story line that came out of this was Lebron’s first career ejection that came late in the 3rd quarter.
Key Matchup:
The key matchup on this game will be Lebron against Taurean Prince. This is going to be a tall task for Prince just for the simple fact that Lebron will be Lebron and ready to play.
