Atlanta Hawks guard Kent Bazemore will miss several weeks with a right knee bone bruise.

Bazemore went down in Sunday’s lost to the Chicago Bulls after an unpleasant landing. He headed straight to the locker room favoring his right leg.

With just 15 games remaining for the Hawks, Bazemore will be shut down for the remainder of the season according to Michael Cunningham.

Bazemore has been one of the Hawks best players this season averaging 12.9 points, second most on the team, and also dishing out 3.5 assists and grabbing 3.8 rebounds.

Hawks also suffered another injury on Sunday, rookie Jaylen Morris left the game early due to a left ankle sprain. Morris is expected to miss around two weeks according to Michael Cunningham.
