Offensive Guard Prospect Visited with Falcons

EDIT: Gono played Tackle in his Junior Year but is listed as a Guard on many prospects websites as well as his official page

Wesley College held its Pro day today and 17 teams attended. Among them were the Falcons who were there for OL Matt Gono. According to reports, Gono also had a visit with the Falcons this week.

Gono is an offensive guard who is currently projected in the late 6th-7th rounds so it’s possible we could pick him as Mr. Irrelevant this year. It doesn’t surprise me that the Falcons are looking at Guard prospects though considering the poor Guard play last year and a possible departure by Levitre next year.

What would you guys think if we picked him? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter @BirdsInTheBenz!
