Georgia has decided to bring in another new face for the second assistant coaching position as they hire Joe Scott.

A few months ago the Georgia basketball team parted ways with Mark Fox, after his ninth year as the Bulldog’s coach. This lead to the hiring of former Indiana Hoosier basketball coach Tom Crean.

Joe Scott, was the assistant at the College of Holy Cross and is also a former head coach for Air Force, Princeton and Denver.

Scott has an overall record of 235-240 as an head coach and also has made one NCAA tournament appearance.

This is Crean’s second hire as the Georgia coach, following the Chad Dollar hire to be the main assistant.
