Malcolm Delaney is coming off his second official season with the Atlanta Hawks. He saw the amount of games he played in drop from his rookie season due to injuries and Isaiah Taylor having a hot stretch. Even though he played in fewer games, he averaged more minutes on the court than the year prior.

He had a very similar year as his rookie year stat wise, but managed to jump from 5.4 points per game to 6.3, and improved his assist rate from 2.6 to 3.0. But the biggest improvement Malcolm made this season was his 3 point success, he went from a 23% 3 point shooter to a 37% 3 point shooter.

Delaney is set to become a Free agent this summer and I’m not completely sure if he will be back or not but if I had to guess I’d say probably not. He’s been fun to watch the past 2 seasons but eventually things come to the end some quicker than others. With that being said we wish Malcolm luck and will support him if he resigns
