Atlanta Hawks Mock Draft 1.0

3. Center Mohamed Bamba, Texas Longhorns

Mo Bamba is a freak athletically which has definitely sparked my interest. Standing at 7’0 with a 7’10 wingspan, Bamba can impact a game from sheer size alone on the defensive end. Bamba averaged 12.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks in his freshman year at Texas.

Bamba definitely needs polishing on the offensive end but defensively Bamba has it all there. Coming to a team with a new head coach who preaches defensive would be a dream come true for Mo Bamba. Bamba is currently being compared to Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
