Belgium trashes Tunisia 5-2 in an open goal fest
This Belgium team continues to get better with each game, especially on the attack side of the ball. Belgium lead by Eden Hazard, scored in the 6th and 51st minute, Romelu Lukaku, scored in the 16th and 45th minute and Michy Batshuayi who added a goal in the 90th minute. Tunisia did not exactly give up in this match as the score would show. They responded quickly after going down 2-0 by scoring two minutes later, goal scored by Dylan Bronn, to make it 2-1. Tunisia definitely gave Belgium throughout the first half; the 45th minute goal by Lukaku killed their hopes at trying to get a draw out of this game. Tunisia’s second goal would come in the 93rd minute by Tunisian captain Wahbi Khazri. Belgium faces England in their third and final group game while Tunisia will face Panama.
England beats Panama 6-1 in a blowout
England did what was expected of them in this match and that was to beat the newcomers Panama by multiple goals. The English came out firing in the first half, leading 5-0 at half time. English captain Harry Kane scored his first World Cup hat trick in this game, English defender provided two goals in this game and Jesse Lingard providing one goal to round up the six goals scored by England. This was England’s largest World Cup win in history and has already scored more goals in this World Cup than at the previous two World Cups combined. Panama have scored their first goal at a World Cup, Felipe Baloy scored in the 78th minute to give Panama its first World Cup goal in their history.
