It was another busy night in Atlanta sports.
Blue Jays 6, Braves 2
The friendly confines of Suntrust Park didn’t help Atlanta in the slightest in this ugly defeat. Toronto scored five runs in the eighth inning to break the game open and put the Braves in a hole they weren’t able to climb out of.
Ozzie Albies led the squad with three hits on the evening. Julio Teherán had a solid night, allowing just three hits and one earned run.
Hawks 101, Bulls 93
Hey, Trae Young actually made some three-pointers! The highly scrutinized rookie made seven of them, to be exact, en route to 24 points and five assists to lead Atlanta to its first summer league victory.
Young’s final three-pointer of the game, one that he shot with his heels on the logo, essentially iced the game, putting the Hawks up eight with 34 seconds left. You can watch his game highlights in the video below.
