Since trading for Alex Bentley, the Atlanta Dream have been setting records. After defeating the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, the Atlanta Dream are the first team in WNBA history to have four players score at least 20 points and five assists in a game. Angel McCoughtry led the Dream in scoring with 24 points, while Jessica Breland recorded a career-high 23 points. Renee Montgomery and Tiffany Hayes both finished with 21 points.
The Dream finished the game with 31 assists which is the second highest in franchise history since forming in 2008. Angel McCoughtry finished the game with 6 assists while her teammate Jessica Breeland finished with 7 assists which was the highest amount from that game. Nothing but impressive basketball coming from our fabulous ladies and they are not done yet.
Now that the Atlanta Dream have defeated the Indiana Fever they are 2nd in the eastern conference with a record of 11-9. The Dream look to continue their winning streak against the Washington Mystics Sunday at 3 PM. Make sure you support our ladies as they have been playing very well. Every game they show why you should watch them work.
