Today in the A: August 3rd

Recap of yesterdays events

The Atlanta Braves took on the New York Mets in which they defeated the Mets 4-2. Newcomer Adam Duvall made his debut and started at left field. Duvall managed to hit once and get walked in his debut as a member of the Braves. Mike Foltynewicz was the starting pitcher and he had a nice game striking out 5 in 6 innings of play.

Today in the A

The Atlanta Dream will be playing against the Chicago Sky at 7 PM looking to get back to their winning ways after losing against the Washington Mystics, breaking their winning streak of 8 games straight. The Dream have a home stretch deal where you can purchase tickets to their final 4 home games for just $44. That’s $11 a ticket which sounds like a good deal to me.

The Atlanta Braves will be facing off against the New York Mets again with starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez versus Jacob DeGrom. DeGrom is always a tough matchup but we hope the Braves do well against him tonight. Ronald Acuña Jr. has scored 11 runs in 10 games hitting leadoff so we hope some of that magic can happen again tonight. Make sure you support our Atlanta Braves tonight as they go for win #2 in this series.
