BREAKING: Lindsay Whalen has announced her retirement from the WNBA

Minnesota Lynx point guard Lindsay Whalen has announced her retirement from the WNBA after 15 seasons. Following her retirement, it is reported that she will take on a coaching role at the University of Minnesota. She played for the Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx in her storied career.

She will go down in history as one of the best players to ever play the game. Best of luck with your coaching job Lindsay Whalen!
