Touki Toussaint (Talking Chop)

Touki Toussaint making Major League debut today:

The Atlanta Braves will have their 10th minor league player making their Major League debut, Touki Toussaint. There is a lot of hype around him, and it’s not just because of his awesome nickname “Touki Time”. This kid has the speed, the stuff, and the velocity to become a decent starting pitcher. All the best to Touki as he goes for his first MLB win.

With that being said, the Braves currently are tied with the Phillies in first place of the NL East. Atlanta just took two of three games from the NL Central leading Brewers in a well-fought series. The Braves have played two less games than the Phillies but that will change today as the Braves begin a 4 game series with the Marlins, including a double header today, while the Phillies have off. First pitch of game one will be at 1:35 and first pitch of game 2 will be at 7:35 when Folty takes the mound.

The Eastern Conference leaders Atlanta Dream will take on the Mercury Friday night at 10:00. The Dream currently sit 2nd in the overall playoff standing and look to contribute success without star Angel McCoughtry.
