We can’t all get to all 41 but here at five Hawks games you just can’t afford to miss

Honroable Mentions

Milwaukee: The return of Bud.

Houston: CP3 and The Beard.

5.  Orlando Magic | MLK Day

MLK Day is always a special day on the Atlanta Hawks schedule. This year, the Orlando Magic come to town in what should be a battle of cellar dwellers. The Hawks always do a great job on MLK Day showcasing his legacy and his pivotal part in American history.

4. OKC | January 15th, 2019

Russell Westbrook may be the most electrifying player to watch live in the league. Russ has posted back to back seasons averaging a triple double. Add in former Hawk Point Guard Dennis Schroder to the mix alongside All Star Paul George and OKC is an instant must watch team. Despite being a weeknight date, expect a raucous sell out crowd for this riveting matchup.

3. Warriors | December 3rd

The Warriors could beat the East All Stars. And it may not even be close. That’s how stacked they are. With success comes bandwagons in the NBA. Hawks fans will have to cheer like it’s Game 7 to make it sound remotely close to a home game.

2. Lakers | February 12th

Even in their down years, Lakers fans show out in droves to then Philips Arena. Add that to it always being a hot ticket whenever LeBron come to town. Over the past decade the Hawks tend to play LeBron James fairly well at home, in the regular season I must add. The atmosphere is also playoff like due to Atlanta Hawks fans having to drown out the roars of the Lebron fans. All of these factors combined with OG Laker Nation make this a can’t miss night at State Farm Arena.

1. Home Opener | Mavericks | ESPN | October 24th

Storylines galore. Luka vs Trae. Hawks 50th season in Atlanta begins. State Farm Arena unveiled. Only national TV game of the year. I could go on. If I could only go to one game this season, this would definitely be the one!
