Falcons Saints Preview

The Atlanta Falcons are set to take on division Rival Saints on Sunday.

Both teams come into the game 1-1 and Falcons currently sit in 2nd in the NFC south holding a tie breaker over both the Panthers and Saints with a winning record within the division. But throw everything out the window when these two teams meet.

The Saints have had trouble in the first two games against the Buccaneers and Browns. Their defense has struggled with the deep ball in both games. A bright spot for them early has been Kamara carrying most the load at RB while Ingram has been suspended. Expect that to continue this week with Atlanta being injury plagued on defense and Duke Riley being likely to have to cover Kamara.

The Falcons actually come into this game feeling good about the offense after Sark and company were able to cash in all opportunities in the red zone last week with Matt Ryan passing for 2 touchdowns and running it in for 2 touchdowns. The defense for the most part looked solid against the Panthers until the final quarter when they went into prevent. If the Falcons can get the offense rolling early I believe the falcons have a great chance to win this game.

Prediction: I believe the Falcons win a close game by the score of 31-28 with a game winning field goal from Bryant to end the game. Extending the all time series record to 53-46!
