In a NFC South Divisional match up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons at Mercedes Benz Stadium where in a unique twist the roof will be open. It will be interesting to see if this has any effect on the kicking or sound aspects of the game. This will be a match up between two struggling teams as the Buccaneers have lost their last two and the Falcons their last three. The Buccaneers started off with fury winning their first two games and posting up some real offensive numbers under QB Ryan Fitzpatrick but have since come back to earth and the job reclaimed by Jameis Winston after he finished serving his suspension. They will look to get that offense that features two talented receivers in Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson on track against a defense decimated by injuries. The Falcons also will rely on an explosive offense in this game. The Falcons will be without Devonta Freeman again so I would look to see Ito Smith more involved in the ground game with Tevin Coleman as well as the utilization of the Wide Receiver weapons in Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley. Just as the last few games this is going to come down to whether or not the patch fix defense can make the few stops needed to allow the offense to put up points on the Buccaneers defense which allows the most points on average per game at 34.8. My prediction is the Falcons will pull this one off and get a much needed win 38-28.
