Falcons Vs Ravens Preview

The Atlanta Falcons are coming into this game against the Ravens having lost their last 3 games to drop to 4-7, which have nearly ended all hopes for playoffs barring a miracle. The Falcons will get back Pro Bowler Deion Jones who has been out since week 1 against Philly when he had to get surgery on his right foot.

The Offense has struggled a bit the previous 3 games averaging 17 PPG and fumbles have also become a reoccurring problem again. Against the Saints the Falcons had a huge problem losing 3 of 5 fumbles and 3 of them coming in the redzone. The Ravens defense has been good this season but I see us getting back on track at home on Sunday.

Matt Ryan has been very well this season looking like an MVP but will get overshadowed by others in the league, But Ryan leads the league in passing yards and will need to be the reason for the win on Sunday with the Ravens having a stingy run defense.

Most importantly we need Coleman and Smith to get something on the ground because we wont be in a position to win if Ryan is the leader in rushing yards for a second straight week.

Jones Ready to comeback after missing 10 weeks (12up)

With Deion Jones coming back we should see the leadership of Jones come into play with him being the star of the defense that we rely on. Defense has given up 27 PPG the past 3 weeks and haven’t been able to stop the run either. Jones also gives us someone to watch the RBs and QBs to prevent big runs.

If the Falcons are able to win tomorrow the playoffs are still a long shot away but with the remaining 4 games after winnable games and could make this final month worth watching.
