Hawks (11-24) @ Pacers (24-12) Preview

The Atlanta Hawks try to continue their winning ways as they face the Pacers in a New Year’s Even matinee.

The once 6-23 Atlanta Hawks have suddenly caught fire. While some fans cry about draft positing, most of us and of course the team are enjoying this pleasant midseason surprise.

The Hawks are coming off back to back nail-biting victories over the Minnesota Timberwolves in OT and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It will be a tall task to knock off the Pacers who have won four straight and eight out of 10 including a 129-121 victory in Atlanta this past Wednesday. Indiana sports a balanced attack led by Victor Oliadipo (19.6 PPG), Bojan Bogdanovic (16.3 PPG) and Domantas Sabonis (14.5 PPG).

It would take an impressive performance from John Collins, Trae Young and the crew to knock off the Pacers in what would instantly be the best win of the year.

Game time is set for 3PM from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
