The Yellow Jackets will be coming into this game at 9-6 (1-1), having lost their last game to Virginia Tech by a score of 52-49. The game against the Hookies felt like it was game that they could’ve won but turnovers and not being able to finish at the rim really hurt them the entire game.

In the two games the Yellow Jackets have played in conference so far this season they’ve showed they can score like they did against wake when they scored 92 or they can play a tight defense and really make a team battle like Virginia Tech did when they held them to under 30% shooting for the game and under 20% from the 3 point line.

Keys to win against the Orange today are getting Devoe and Banks going early and setting the tone on offense. It wont be an easy task to do against Syracuse who has taken care of their business who are sitting at 11-4 and winners of 4 straight games. During their winning streak, Syracuse has won by an average of 20 points while allowing more than 55 points just once.

These two teams have only played a total of 10 times and the record sits at 5-5, with Georgia Tech winning the last game by a score of 55-51. The game will be on ESPN2 and tipoff at 6:00pm EST
