The Yellow Jackets travel to play Duke in another tough ACC matchup. The Jackets are coming in with a recent win over Notre Dame that came down to the wire after having a double digit lead with less than 3 minutes to go. If the Yellow Jackets want to beat Duke they will need to play ball hawking defense and contain the turnovers which have been a problem this season.

The offense will need to get going fast this afternoon. If you fall behind early to Duke they have the capability of blowing teams out. With that being said, the offense will rely on Alvarado, Banks, and Gueye to set the tone early and get everyone in a rhythm. Alvarado and Gueye returned after missing a game and were the leaders of the offense scoring 16 and 13 individually.

The bench for the Yellow Jackets will need to step up for the game while only scoring 7 points in the game against Notre Dame. That doesn’t translate to a lot of wins especially against great teams like Duke.

The biggest key for the defense today will be containing Zion which nobody has been able to do and force the rest of the team beat us. This Duke team is firing all cylinders since losing to Syracuse a couple games ago with wins over UVA and Pitt.  Tre Jones is looking like he will be back for this game as well

Overall Duke should pull this one off but I believe the yellow Jackets wont lose as bad as people think and cover the +22 that they were at on Friday.

Game will be on ESPN3 and Fox Sports with tipoff being at Noon.
