Georgia Tech Hosts Boston College

Georgia Tech will be looking to snap their 2 game losing streak they have been on. Tonight is senior night and the Jackets will be saying goodbye to Sylvester Ogbonda who will be graduating this spring and will be a transfer to probably some school where he will be a starter. Brandon Alston and Abdoulaye Gueye will also be playing in their final home game as a Yellow Jacket. Gueye has made tremendous improvements since joining the Jackets. He has improved his offensive production this season and will be looking to continue his good work in these last two games for the Jackets.

Georgia Tech will have to guard Ky Bowman who averages 19.4 points per game and is currently shooting 41.4 percent from the floor. In the last 2 games for the Jackets, the offense has struggled in the first half especially against Miami. If the Jackets want to have any success tonight they need to hit their shots and have a better start offensively. Against Virginia early the Jackets found success by cutting and driving it into the paint, but they went away from that and struggled for the rest of the game. The Jackets have also had issues getting James Banks III involved in their offense. Banks struggled against UVA and had no points against Miami.

As usual the Jackets the turnovers need to a minimum and hit their shots. Look for the Jackets to get Banks involved and for some improvement on the defensive side. In back to back games the Jackets have given up at least 75 points or more. Tipoff against Boston College is at 6:00 PM. Follow @wreckhavocatl on twitter throughout the game.
