The Atlanta Falcons continue to be very active in free agency as they sign safety JJ Wilcox to a one-year deal. Wilcox played for both the Colts and Jets back in 2018. Wilcox is best known for his time spent with the team that drafted back in 2013 the Dallas Cowboys. During his four seasons with the Cowboys, Wilcox recorded 212 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries. He also started 38 games for the Cowboys. However, the past two seasons have not been very kind to Wilcox as he has only started just one game. This signing by the Falcons does add more depth to the safety position and makes Wilcox the third safety that Atlanta has signed this offseason. The other safeties that the Falcons have signed are Chris Cooper and Afolabi Laguda.
