Atlanta Falcons Draft Bio: Chris Lindstrom

www.bceagles.com

Chris Lindstrom was the Falcons 1st round pick at number 14. Lindstrom is 6’4 and 308 pounds. He is a guard and will help strengthen the right side of the line for the Falcons. Lindstrom is a physical, nasty guard which is exactly what Mike Mularkey wants in the offensive line for the Falcons. At Boston College, he made first team All-ACC and during his senior season made the switch to right guard after being at right tackle in his junior season. He made 48 consecutive starts at Boston College and was rated as one of the best guards in this years NFL draft.

On 363 passing block attempts last season, Lindstrom did not allow a single sack and did not allow any hits on his quarterback. The only thing he did allow was just four hurries. This is a solid guy for the Falcons and will make a big impact on the line. He has a ton of experience on the right side and moves very well. One play from his highlight film was a screen play where he made a very nice block to open up the play more for the receiver. This is something that he will continue to do well in throughout his career for the Falcons.
