Trent Howard Commits to the Jackets

Coach Collins and his staff to continue to build a great 2020 class. Tonight, Trent Howard became the 16th commit of the class. Howard is out of Briarwood Christian in Birmingham, Alabama. He is 6’4 286 pounds. Howard established a great connection with Georgia Tech’s offensive line coach Brent Key. One thing to like about Howard is that he is a very physical guard. Howard is also the first guard commit of the 2020 class which is huge with Kenny Cooper and Vanderbilt graduate transfer Jared Southers both being seniors in the 2019 season. Howard knows how to use his size very well and is a good get for Key.

Howard committed to Georgia Tech over offers from Miami, Mississippi State, Louisville, and Maryland. Now with Howard’s commitment, the Jackets 2020 class is now 13th in the country according to rivals. For more updates on the 2020 class and all things Georgia Tech follow @wreckhavocatl on twitter.
